In this episode of the Real Estate Wealth Playbook, I sit down with Andrew Chapman of Four Points Realty to discuss one of the most important decisions a new multifamily investor can make: choosing the right real estate agent. Not all agents are the same, and the difference between working with someone who sells real estate and someone who actually invests in it can save you years of frustration and costly mistakes. We discuss the questions every investor should ask before hiring an agent, the questions a good agent should be asking you, and why experience, local market knowledge, and the right network matter so much. If you're looking to buy your first multifamily property, this episode will help you find the right guide for the journey.

How do you get 10 doors in 10 years? Like everything in real estate, it comes down to 3 things: Location, location, location. On episode 2 of the Real Estate Playbook, I talk to Dan Murphy about finding the right area to invest in. If you aren’t a seasoned investor, I highly recommend that you find properties to invest in within a 2-hour drive of your house, because you will need to check on the property regularly. Dan and I get into the details that potential real estate investors need to know, and the steps you’ll need to take to get to know an area and the specific properties you want to invest in, as well as sound financial advice on how much your down payment should be, and how much you should realistically expect to need for closing costs and repairs before you start making money. But the reward is worth it, because real estate is a stable investment, and if you have a 10-year timeline, it’s nearly guaranteed you will see a return. Watch this episode of the Real Estate Playbook to learn more about how to invest in 10 doors in 10 years.

Multifamily real estate investing is one of the most stable ways to make passive income. But most people are daunted by how much work and time it takes to buy real estate. The hardest part is starting.
That's why I came up with the 10 doors in 10 years plan. This is a simple, practical approach to building a small portfolio over time by staying consistent and focusing on what actually matters. Real estate is a long game, and this strategy is designed for people who are willing to think in years, not months.
If you’re willing to put in the work, you can build a stable source of passive income that supports you long-term, even into retirement

Why not you? Why not now? In the inaugural episode of Peter’s Real Estate Wealth Playbookcast, I share my personal journey and why I believe so many people struggle financially; it’s not because they lack drive, but because they were never taught how money and investing really work. I lay out exactly what this podcast is meant to be (a practical, long-term wealth strategy) and what it is not (get-rich-quick hype or flashy speculation).
